ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Saint Louis FC announced the signing of midfielder Wal Fall, pending USL and U.S. Soccer Federation approval.

Fall was born in Frankfurt, Germany and developed in the SV Wehen Wiesbaden system.  He joined FC Nurnberg II at the start of the 2011-2012 season and made 27 appearances and scored three goals.  Fall then moved to SV Waldhof Mannheim where he made 19 appearances and scored one goal during the 2012-2013 season.  He joined SC Austria Lustenau and made 40 appearances and scored three goals over the 2013-2015 seasons.  Fall was signed by the Rochester Rhinos at the start of the 2016 season and he went on to make 53 appearances and score 13 goals for the USL club.

“Wal is a huge signing for us,” said Anthony Pulis, STLFC Head Coach. “One of our main objectives this offseason was to build a solid spine to our team and Wal certainly helps us do that. He's a big physical presence in the center of midfield but also has excellent technical ability and a great range of passing. He has a very high ceiling and I’m really looking forward to working with him.”

“I’m excited to join Saint Louis FC,” said Fall. “I’m looking forward to the new chapter in St. Louis with my new teammates and the new coaching staff. I’m also happy to play in front of the amazing supporters.”
