ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Saint Louis FC announced the signing of forward Kadeem Dacres, pending USL and U.S. Soccer Federation approval.

Dacres was born in Rosedale, New York and developed in the Met Oval Academy before graduating from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County in 2013.  He played for the Jersey Express in the PDL during the 2011-2012 seasons and made 18 appearances and scored seven goals.  He also played for Reading United in the PDL during the 2013 season where he made 12 appearances and scored three goals.  Dacres was drafted by the Chicago Fire in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft before signing with Arizona United in the USL where he played in 24 matches and scored three goals during the 2014 season.  He then signed with Louisville City FC and made 49 appearances and scored eight goals over the 2015-2016 seasons.  Dacres joined FC Cincinnati and played in 22 matches during the 2017 season.

“Kadeem is a great addition to our group,” said Anthony Pulis, STLFC Head Coach. “He’s someone who has a point to prove which really appeals to me. By his own admission, things didn’t go the way he would have hoped last year at Cincinnati but I believe we have a player who possesses a lot of ability, great pace, and a real determination to show people what he’s capable of doing.”

“I’m excited for this new chapter with Saint Louis FC,” said Dacres. “Anthony is building something special here and I can’t wait to get started with the guys.”
