PHOENIX – Phoenix Rising FC announced on Tuesday it had signed former FC Cincinnati goalkeeper Dallas Jaye for the 2018 USL season. The signing marks a return to Arizona for Jaye, who competed for the Premier Development League’s FC Tucson prior to his professional career.

“I am very excited to be joining Phoenix Rising for the 2018 season,” Jaye said. “I am thankful for the coaching staff and front office for giving me the opportunity to be apart of this club that is building something very special. I plan on giving my all for the city and doing everything I can to help bring a USL Cup to Phoenix. I cannot wait to get down to there and meet my new teammates, the staff, and all the fans. The best is yet to come!”

A former standout collegiately at both the University of South Florida and Xavier University, Jaye competed for FC Tucson from 2013-2015. During that span, Jaye helped Tucson on its longest run in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, when the side reached the Third Round of the tournament in 2013 before being defeated by the Houston Dynamo.

In addition to his domestic achievements, Jaye has appeared internationally Guam, and was part of the side’s first victories in World Cup Qualifying in program history during the past cycle of Asian qualifying. With the addition of Jaye, Rising FC now has 15 players signed for the 2018 season. Jaye is the third goalkeeper signed for the 2018 season.
