Mobile Mini Sun Cup Schedule Unveiled

Record 11 games set for Phoenix, Tucson in preseason tournament

PHOENIX – The schedule for the 2018 Mobile Mini Sun Cup was revealed on Friday, with a record 11 Major League Soccer clubs and the USL’s Phoenix Rising FC set to compete in 11 matches between Phoenix and Tucson, the most matches ever played during the MLS Preseason event in Arizona. 

The preseason tournament will kick off on Saturday, Feb. 3 at the Kino Sports Complex as Cascadia rivals the Portland Timbers and Seattle Sounders FC square off, with the LA Galaxy and Real Salt Lake also set to meet on the opening day of the event.

Rising FC will square off against three MLS clubs at the Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex during the tournament, with contests against the Colorado Rapids set for Wednesday, Feb. 14 and Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, Feb. 17. The PDL’s FC Tucson will also feature in the action, taking on the New England Revolution at the Kino Sports Complex on Saturday, Feb. 17.

The tournament will culminate on Saturday, Feb. 24 with a tripleheader of action at the Kino Sports Complex. Tickets for all Mobile Mini Sun Cup matches are now available at PHXRisingFC.com or at FCTucson.com. Each day of the Mobile Mini Sun Cup only requires one ticket for access to all games during that day. Mobile Mini Sun cup games are included with all Phoenix Rising and FC Tucson season ticket memberships.
