Toronto FC II news and notes

• Current record: 6-17-7, 25pts

• Toronto took a surprise 1-0 win against Louisville City FC last Wednesday night at the Ontario Soccer Centre in its most recent outing as it shocked the USL Eastern Conference-leaders.

• Shaan Hundal scored the only goal of the match in the 73rd minute with a good finish on Jordan McCrary’s pass, which proved enough for the win on the night, and in then regular-season series against Louisville. 

• The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Toronto, which now needs victory on Friday night to avoid finishing in last place in the Eastern Conference.

• Goalkeeper Angelo Cavalluzzo recorded a four-save shutout against Louisville last Wednesday night, and is now seventh in the USL with 79 saves for the season in 19 appearances.

Bethlehem Steel FC news and notes

• Bethlehem earned a 1-1 draw with the Tampa Bay Rowdies last Saturday night at Al Lang Stadium in its most recent outing.

• Seku Conneh scored for Steel FC in the 56th minute to put the side ahead on the road, but an equalizer 10 minutes from time saw Bethlehem slip to ninth place in the Eastern Conference standings. 

• The draw was the second in the week for Bethlehem against Tampa Bay after the teams played to a 2-2 draw on Sept. 27, but kept the side on a five-game undefeated streak going into Friday night's contest. 

• Bethlehem currently sits one point back of the eighth-place New York Red Bulls II and two back of seventh-place Orlando City B in the Eastern Conference. A win on Friday would guarantee a place in the playoff positions after this weekend's action, however, with Orlando set to host New York on Saturday night.
