Rangers aim at third place after back-to-back victories

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Swope Park Rangers will look to add to their back-to-back victories when they host the LA Galaxy II on Wednesday night at Children’s Mercy Victory Field with third place in the Western Conference within reach for the hosts. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT.

  • The Rangers claimed a 3-1 victory against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Saturday night to book their place in the 2017 USL Cup Playoffs.

  • Swope Park scored three goals in two minutes moments after the game’s restart after a lightning delay in the first half to take control of the contest.

  • Kharlton Belmar notched a goal and assists against the Switchbacks, and now has 12 goals this season, matching his single-season high two years ago when he claimed USL Rookie of the Year.
