LA Galaxy II forward Ethan Zubak scored the fastest goal in USL history on Saturday night, continuing to burnish the reputation that comes from being both a U.S. Youth international and the No. 3 selection in the 2017 USL 20 Under 20 announced earlier this year.

The 19-year-old native of Corona, Calif. has shone in a tough season for Los Dos, with the potential he brings evident each time he appears for the Galaxy II. Deciding to turn professional with the USL squad last year, Zubak has four goals and three assists this season in becoming an integral member of the club’s attack.

Zubak was also recently featured in the Galaxy’s Road to LA presented by Chevrolet series, where his path to Los Dos was brought into closer focus.

“Starting my Sophomore year of High School, I came out and practiced with the Academy team, the U16s, and ended up staying that yearm,” Zubak said. “At first you don’t know what to expect because you’re leaving your normal setting, you’re leaving High School, all of the people you’re used to for something that’s pretty revolutionary for American soccer. The be a part of that in the first year, especially in the Galaxy organization, it was special.”
