Three stops from Week 25 in the USL season compete for weekly honor

Week 25 of the 2017 USL season saw a number of the top-class saves across the league. We have selected three of the best and now it is your chance to choose which will claim this week’s USL Fans’ Choice Save of the Week award.

Voting will continue through 9 a.m. ET on Thursday, September 14.

USL Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 25

Sean Melvin, Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 - #OKCvVAN, 9/10/17: Perhaps the most impressive stop of a seven-save shutout at Energy FC that earned Melvin a spot on the USL Team of the Week came in the 58th minute when the 23-year-old dove to turn away a Coady Andrews header earmarked for the back post.

Connor Sparrow, Real Monarchs SLC - #PORvSLC, 9/9/17: Sparrow notched another clean sheet in the Monarchs' trip to Portland but needed to come up big in the 86th minute to deny a slick close-range effort from Gio Calixtro, and the follow from Augustine Williams, to preserve the draw.

Sean Lewis, Harrisburg City Islanders - #STLvHAR, 9/9/17: Harrisburg earned its third road win of the season thanks in part to a huge sequence in which Lewis got down to parry a Mats Bjurman effort that traveled through traffic before pouncing on a rebound effort from Tony Walls.
