Your chance to choose the best stop from August in the USL season

TAMPA, Fla. – The 2017 USL regular season has seen some outstanding saves across the league during the month of August. Now it’s your turn to select the best of the five selected that will earn the USL Fans’ Choice Save of the Month award.

USL Fans’ Choice Save of the Month Finalists – August

Moise Pouaty (COS) - #COSvPOR, 8/5/17: Pouaty made an outstanding save to tip the Portland Timbers 2’s Villyan Bijev penalty kick over the crossbar in the Switchbacks’ victory at Weidner Field.

Fabian Cerda (TUL) - #TULvOKC, 8/12/17: Cerda produced a good low save off an Energy FC corner, one of six saves on the night as Tulsa took the Black Gold Derby with victory at ONEOK Field.

Eric Lopez (LA) - #COSvLA, 8/18/17: Lopez’s excellent reflex save kept a low free kick by Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC’s Masta Kacher from finding the net as he tipped it to safety past the right post.

Callum Irving (OTT) - #OTTvNY, 8/27/17: Irving kept his side in the game late with a tremendous double save to deny New York’s Florian Valot and Andrew Tinari that allowed Fury FC to score in stoppage time and earn a 2-2 draw.

Daniel Lynd (ROC) - #HARvROC, 8/8/17: Lynd notched an excellent diving save as part of a five-save shutout to deny the Harrisburg City Islanders’ Paul Wilson in a 1-0 victory for the Rhinos at FNB Field.
