Orlando City B news and notes

  • Current record: 8-6-12, 36pts

  • Orlando City B extended its undefeated streak to 12 games in a 1-1 draw against Bethlehem Steel FC last Thursday night at Orlando City Stadium.

  • OCB's run, which dates back to June, has seen the club rise to sixth place in the USL Eastern Conference with six games remaining in its regular season.

  • Pierre Da Silva scored his second goal of the season in the draw against Steel FC, but will be suspended for Thursday's match after being handed a one-game suspension by the Independent Discipline Panel for a challenge that was initially awarded a yellow card in the first half against Bethlehem.

  • Orlando's draw against Bethlehem was its seventh at Orlando City Stadium this season, with the side having won only twice on home turf this season. With 12 draws total this season, OCB is one back of the single-season USL record of 13, set by OKC Energy FC in the 2016 season.

Richmond Kickers news and notes

  • Current record: 5-13-8, 23pts

  • A brief upturn in form came to an end for the Kickers on Saturday as they fell 3-0 to the Charlotte Independence at the Sportsplex at Matthews to open their road trip.

  • The Kickers remain in 14th place in the USL Eastern Conference following the defeat, which ended a two-game winning streak for the side.

  • The Kickers have struggled away from home this season, and are yet to record their first win of the season with a record of 0-7-5 away from City Stadium.

  • Richmond is set to be without midfielder Chris Durkin on Thursday night, with the D.C. United loanee called into the U.S. U17 National Team camp that has convened in Bradenton, Fla. this week to continue preparations for the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup in October.
