Toronto FC II news and notes

  • Current record: 5-14-7, 22pts

  • Toronto comes into this match with a two-match undefeated streak following a 1-1 draw with Saint Louis FC on Wednesday.

  • It could have been very different for TFC II as the Reds were looking like losing another match, but in stoppage time Shaan Hundal popped up to score a late equalizer, salvaging a point.

  • Toronto won possession, with 55.1 percent of the ball and led the shot count 13-8 but couldn’t get the goal until stoppage time despite those numbers.

  • The Reds are undefeated in their last four games at the Ontario Soccer Centre (2-0-2), and took victory against both the Eastern Conference's second-place Charlotte Independence and third-place Charleston Battery in the month of August.

Rochester Rhinos news and notes

  • The Rhinos have only managed consecutive wins twice this season and will want to improve on that as the USL Cup Playoffs approach.

  • The Rhinos will have midfielder Kenardo Forbes available for selection after the completion of a three-game suspension. Forbes leads the Rhinos with with 36 key passes this season.
