Pittsburgh Riverhounds news and notes
Current record: 7-8-9, 30pts
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds come in to this match following a memorable 2-1 win over Saint Louis FC which got them on a streak which has put them right in the playoff hunt.
After conceding on the stroke of halftime Pittsburgh fought back and managed to get back on level terms with a quick goal from Corey Hertzog just after halftime, the win sealed with a Hertzog penalty in the 73rd minute.
Those two goals earned Hertzog a place on the USL Team of the Week after his strong performance saw him manage five shots, winning five of seven duels, as a constant threat.
With only three wins at home this season, Pittsburgh will want this win to kick on a run to finish the season and earn a playoff place.
