PITTSBURGH (July 25, 2017) – The Pittsburgh Riverhounds (5-7-7) return home after an unbeaten three-game road swing to face the Charleston Battery (10-4-5) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26 at Highmark Stadium.

All draws, the three-game unbeaten streak is the second such stretch this season for the Hounds. With at least a point tomorrow, their current streak would extend to the longest by a Hounds squad since the 2015 season saw the club finish the season on a five-game unbeaten run (2-0-3) en route to the playoffs.

The Battery, meanwhile, enter the match atop the Eastern Conference, but scuffling as of late with losses in two straight. One potential reason for the mini slide has been the absence of league-leading goal scorer Romario Williams, who is away on Jamaican National Team duty for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Williams is expected to miss his fourth straight game for the Battery, as the Gold Cup Final between the Reggae Boyz and the United States is scheduled for kickoff tomorrow night at 9:30 p.m.

These two clubs have already met once this season with the Hounds prevailing 2-1 on April 8 off a late header by Corey Hertzog at MUSC Health Stadium. The victory for Pittsburgh was only the second win against Charleston in 15 head-to-head meetings since the beginning of the 2011 season. At home, the Hounds have yet defeat to the Battery during this timeframe, holding a 0-2-4 record.

Off the pitch, the Hounds are partnering with Allegheny Health Network for the second night of their “Health Series” – Concussion Awareness Night. Fans will have the opportunity to venture through a 20-foot inflatable brain at Highmark Stadium, while also having the chance to engage with orthopaedic, neuroscience and concussions specialists.

Additionally, fans are welcome to enjoy the $1 beer special running from gates open at 5:30 p.m. until kickoff.

Tickets to the match are still available and can be purchased by visiting Riverhounds.com. For fans unable attend, follow the action live at USL Match Center
