• San Antonio played to a 1-1 draw last Friday night against OKC Energy FC in the USL Game of the Week on ESPNU.

• The second-largest crowd in Toyota Field history of 8,131 was on hand, and San Antonio took the lead through Billy Forbes early in the second half, only for Miguel Gonzalez’s stoppage-time equalizer to earn the visitors a point.

• San Antonio was overtaken for second place in the Western Conference on Thursday night by the Swope Park Rangers, and sit seven points behind the Monarchs in first place.

• SAFC has conceded only eight goals this season, the fewest in the USL.

• The Monarchs enter on a two-game winning streak after defeating Seattle Sounders FC 2 in their last outing on July 8 at Rio Tinto Stadium.
