The Independence claimed their fourth consecutive win on Tuesday night as they defeated the Pittsburgh Riverhounds 3-1 at Highmark Stadium.
Jorge Herrera led the way for the Independence with a pair of goals. The Colombian is now second on the team with six goals this season.
Charlotte previously claimed four consecutive wins in league play between April 16 and May 7, 2016.
The Independence have won both of their home games at the Sportsplex at Matthews since opening their new home on June 17.

Saint Louis earned a 0-0 draw against the Rochester Rhinos on Wednesday night at Toyota Stadium – Saint Louis, but remain winless in their last four games.
Goalkeeper Adam Grinwis recorded a five-save shutout for STLFC against his former club as the Rhinos outshot Saint Louis 16-3.
Saint Louis has been held scoreless for 358 consecutive minutes, with its most recent tally an own goal by Bethlehem Steel FC defender Ken Tribbett on June 11.
