New York Red Bulls II news and notes

  • Current record: 5-7-3, 18pts

  • The Red Bulls II are winless in their last three outings after a 2-2 draw against Ottawa Fury FC last Saturday left them in 11th place in the Eastern Conference.

  • New York scored twice in two minutes through Zeiko Lewis and Brandon Allen in the second half to take the lead, but conceded in the fourth minute of stoppage time to come away with only a point.

  • The Red Bulls II have conceded 30 goals in 15 games this season, the most in the Eastern Conference.

  • Allen’s next goal will be his 30th overall in the USL, with the standout striker having notched 23 regular-season goals and six postseason goals since the start of the 2016 season.

  • Saint Louis fell 2-0 to FC Cincinnati last Saturday night as it fell to a second consecutive loss, and third in its last five outings.

  • Goalkeepers Devala Gorrick and Adam Grinwis have combined for 40 saves this season, with Grinwis (.800) holding the edge in save percentage over Gorrick (.649).
