SEATTLE – Seattle Sounders FC announced on Wednesday it had recalled Victor Mansaray from his loan spell with FC Cincinnati to rejoin the club. The Sounders Homegrown signing made eight appearances for FCC since joining the club prior to the start of the 2017 USL regular season.

Mansaray, a U.S. U20 international and the No. 1 selection in the 2016 USL 20 Under 20 – has made 44 appearances in the USL over the past three seasons, having seen action with Seattle Sounders FC 2 in both 2015 and 2016. A native of Sierra Leone, Mansaray has also made three appearances in Major League Soccer.

Sounders FC also announced that eight current players from S2 will be available for selection in Wednesday night’s Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 contest against the San Jose Earthquakes at Avaya Stadium, including S2 leading scorer Irvin Parra.

Also among those called up for the contest are Rodrigue Ele, Ray Saari, Francisco Narbon and Sam Rogers, all of whom were in the starting lineup for the Sounders alongside Parra in Seattle’s 2-1 victory against the Portland Timbers in the Fourth Round contest between the clubs on June 13.
