Named Official Health Care Provider, Jersey Naming Rights Partner

IRVINE, Calif. – Orange County SC announced on Thursday a major new partnership with Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian, which will become the club’s exclusive health care provider and primary jersey sponsor. The Hoag logo will debut on Orange County SC’s jersey this weekend when they take on Seattle Sounders FC 2 at 5 p.m. PT on Saturday evening at the Orange County Great Park.

“Our players and coaches are like family at Orange County Soccer Club, and their health and well-being come first. That’s why we’re so excited to partner with Hoag,” said James Keston, club owner. “Hoag is renowned for its extraordinary health care services and its commitment to the community. We share that commitment and look forward to building our hometown fan base at the Orange County Great Park.”

As part of the agreement, Hoag will provide OCSC’s coaching staff and players with comprehensive health care services on and off the field. These include preseason screenings, physical exams, care by Hoag physicians during games, and medical exams throughout each season. The agreement will also provide unique opportunities for youth soccer clubs and schools to teach kids injury prevention and health education as part of a strategy for living a long, healthy life.

Entering its first season after a major rebrand, Orange County SC’s move is the latest designed to put the club’s stamp on the region by reeling in Hoag as one of its cornerstone corporate partners. As Orange County’s only professional soccer team, the club is actively engaging the business community of Orange County and seeking local partners whose goals and values overlap with those of our club: family, community and competition to be the best.

“Through their discipline, competitive spirit and teamwork, the players and coaches of the Orange County Soccer Club inspire all who are fortunate enough to watch them in action,” said Hoag President and CEO Robert Braithwaite. “They represent our community on the athletic field, and all of us at Hoag are honored to be associated with them.”
