Rhinos look to continue move up standings in rematch with OCB

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Rochester Rhinos will take aim at a fourth consecutive victory at Capelli Sport Stadium when they meet Orlando City B for the second time this season on Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m. ET.

Rochester Rhinos news and notes

  • Current record: 5-1-5, 20pts

  • The Rhinos earned their third consecutive home win, and extended their undefeated streak to eight games, with a 1-0 win against Ottawa Fury FC last Saturday night.

  • Ryan Felix scored the only goal of the game, and was named to the USL Team of the Week on Tuesday for his solid performance at both ends of the field.

  • The victory against Ottawa moved Rochester into the top four in the USL’s Eastern Conference for the first time this season.

  • Each of the Rhinos’ three most recent home wins have come via a 1-0 scoreline, and the side has conceded only five goals in its eight-game undefeated streak.

Orlando City B news and notes

  • Orlando fell 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon against Ottawa Fury FC at TD Place as former Rhinos player Steevan Dos Santos scored the only goal of the game late in the first half.

  • OCB is now winless in its last three outings, and the side has slid to 10th place in the USL’s Eastern Conference.

  • All 15 goals scored by Orlando this season have come from inside the penalty area, and the side has yet to score from a set piece this season.

  • Orlando has taken three of its four victories this season away from home, earning wins on the road against Bethlehem, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.
