In the midst of the club's best run of success in its young history, Bethlehem Steel FC head coach Brendan Burke spoke with local media on his weekly media conference call on Wednesday morning.

Burke and the club are coming off a 1-0 victory on the road at Harrisburg City Islanders that notched the club's first season series win against their in-state rival. Team captain James Chambers provided the winning goal, notching his third tally of the 2017 campaign.

Steel FC ends the month of June riding a five-match unbeaten streak and on a three-game winning streak.

Bethlehem Steel FC will take a break from regular season play by participating in 'Soccer Night in PA for Sandy Hook’, on Tuesday, June 27. Steel FC will play against Newtown Pride FC at 6 p.m. at WCUSC Turf Field in West Chester, PA. The match will be also raising funds and awareness for Newtown Youth and Family Services.

 Steel FC returns to USL play with a three-game homestead, starting on Saturday, July 1. Kickoff at Goodman Stadium on the campus of Lehigh University is set for 5 p.m. Tickets for the match can be purchased online here, or by calling the Bethlehem Steel FC ticket office at 844-STEELFC.
