New York Red Bulls II news and notes

  • Current record: 5-6-2, 17pts

  • The Red Bulls II saw their two-game winning streak ended last Sunday when they fell 3-0 to Louisville City FC at MSU Soccer Park.

  • The loss marked the first time the Red Bulls II had suffered a defeat against Louisville, and saw the side remain in fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

  • Seku Conneh and James Chambers found the net for Bethlehem against Saint Louis, with Conneh now sitting tied for fourth in the USL with seven goals this season.

  • Bethlehem loanees Marcus Epps and Derrick Jones both scored their first goals for the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday night in a 3-1 victory against the Harrisburg City Islanders in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

  • Steel FC could see Cory Burke return to the lineup after the Jamaican forward missed last Sunday’s game on international duty. Burke started in the Reggae Boyz's 3-1 loss to Peru on Tuesday night.
