CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Battery announced on Wednesday the club had added midfielder Chris Goslin and defender Miles Robinson on loan from the club’s MLS partner, Atlanta United FC, for its upcoming two games against Bethlehem Steel FC and the New York Red Bulls II.

Goslin, a 17-year old Homegrown midfielder, played with Charleston in 2016, appearing in the team’s friendlies against Rangers FC and the Nigerian Olympic Team. The U.S. U17 international most recently saw action at the 2017 CONCACAF U17 Championship in Panama, where he helped the side qualify for the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup in India.

Robinson, a 20-year old rookie center back, was one of the standout performers in the Premier Development League a season ago for FC Boston. Signed to a Generation Adidas contract after this past fall at Syracuse University, Robinson was selected with the No. 2 pick of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft this January, and could make his professional debut with the Battery this week.

The Battery currently sit top of the USL Eastern Conference entering Week 10’s action, ahead of the Tampa Bay Rowdies on goal differential. Charleston will face Bethlehem on Thursday at 11 a.m. ET at Goodman Stadium, and then the Red Bulls II on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET at MSU Soccer Park to conclude a three-game road trip through the northeast.
