Wednesday matinee in Portland brings Switchbacks to Providence Park

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers 2 will play host to Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC in a special matinee kickoff on Wednesday lunchtime at Providence Park, with the Switchbacks looking to build on a big victory in their most recent outing. The Video Assistant Referee system will be in use, with kickoff set for 11 a.m. PT.

Portland Timbers 2 news and notes

  • Current record: 1-7-0, 3pts

  • Portland fell for a second consecutive contest this past Friday night as Seattle Sounders FC 2 earned a 2-0 victory at Starfire Stadium.

  • T2 first five defeats of the season each came in a one-goal game, but the side has now been outscored 6-0 in its most recent two outings.
