The Battery recorded their first draw of the season last Saturday night as Romario Williams’ late equalizer earned a 2-2 result against Ottawa Fury FC at MUSC Health Stadium.
Williams had both goals for the Battery in the contest, and the Atlanta United FC loanee is now tied for the USL lead with six goals this season.
Charleston remained on top of the USL Eastern Conference with its draw against Ottawa, and has scored a conference-high 15 goals so far this season.
Justin Portillo is tied for the league-lead in assists with four, while Maikel Chang leads the team with 13 chances created, good for seventh in the USL.
Bethlehem Steel FC news and notes

Bethlehem claimed a dramatic 1-0 victory against FC Cincinnati last Saturday as Hugh Roberts’ goal with three minutes to go proved the game-winner at Goodman Stadium.
Both of Steel FC’s victories this season have come against Cincinnati, with the team having also earned victory when the sides met on April 9.
Roberts’ goal was his first for his new club, and saw the 2016 USL All-League selection earn a place on the USL Team of the Week for the first time this year.
Saturday’s game kicks off a three-game road trip for Bethlehem, which will also visit Toronto FC II and FC Cincinnati before returning to Goodman Stadium.
