Kickers host FCC as both clubs look to rebound from road defeats

RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond Kickers and FC Cincinnati will both be aiming to bounce back from road defeats in their last outings when they square off at City Stadium on Saturday night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.

Richmond Kickers news and notes

  • Current record: 2-4-0, 6pts

  • The Kickers fell 1-0 to the Tampa Bay Rowdies last Saturday at Al Lang Stadium in their last outing, its second road defeat of the season.

  • Richmond has earned both of its victories this season at City Stadium, with goals by Fred Owusu Sekyere and Alhadj Kamara earning a 2-1 win against Pittsburgh in its most recent home contest.

  • Owusu Sekyere has been the main catalyst for the Kickers going forward this season, creating 10 chances to lead the team.

  • The Kickers have recorded only 43 shots this season, fourth-fewest in the USL, but have also conceded only five goals in six contests.
