For many fans, there’s not much better than a pint of beer at their local soccer game. Heck, some guy even made a movement out of it. With the rise of local craft beer across the USL’s cities, numerous clubs have partnered with local brewers to create their own beers to satiate the thirsts of their fans both on game day and away from the stadium.

Using Untappd – a social media app that allows users to track and rate beers across the country – we’ve compiled the Top Five rating USL team-specific beers. Even if your club’s pint isn’t on the list, though, enjoy some responsibly at your team’s next home game.

No. 5 – Tampa Bay Rowdies – Kick in the Grass

Brewing Company: Big Storm Brewing Co.
ABV: 4.3% | IBU: 22 | Untappd Rating: 3.64

The Tampa Bay Rowdies partnered with award-winning local brewery Big Storm Brewing Co. to create a new beer for the 2017 season, with the Pilsner-style lager already getting positive marks from fans at Al Lang Stadium. With the name a nod to the club’s heritage – the club’s song proclaims the Rowdies to be a Kick in the Grass – and the pedigree of the brewers, the beer joins a long list of good craft beers available in the region.

No. 4 – Richmond Kickers – Red Army Red IPA

Brewing Company: Trapezium Brewing Co.
ABV: 6.3% | IBU: 74 | Untappd Rating: 3.71

The Richmond Kickers were the first in the USL to create their own craft beer as Kick it Hunny was launched in 2014 with Wild Wolf Brewing. More recently, the club partnered with Petersburg, Va. brewers Trapezium to make Red IPA that honored the club’s supporters group, the River City Red Army. Judging by the response from fans, it’s certainly been a hit around town and in the stands at City Stadium.

No. 3 – Colo. Springs Switchbacks FC – Elephant Rock IPA

Brewing Company: Pikes Peak Brewing
ABV: 7% | IBU: 77 | Untappd Rating: 3.75

The official IPA of the Switchbacks, Elephant Rock IPA has been a hit in a region of the country that has become a hotbed for great craft brewing. Brewed with two pounds per barrel of late-addition hops, and named after the local landmark, Elephant Rock has built a strong following in Colorado Springs and beyond.

No. 2 – Louisville City FC – LouCity IPA

Brewing Company: Falls City Beer
ABV: 6.7% | IBU: 59 | Untappd Rating: 3.93

An Azacca IPA, the first in a series of beers set to be unveiled this year in a collaboration between Louisville City FC and Falls City Beer, has proven an instant hit since being unveiled in April. With proceeds from the pints also providing support to local charities, it figures this one will be a win-win for fans and the local community alike, and it will be interesting to see what’s next in the series as the season goes on.

No. 1 – FC Cincinnati - FCC Imperial Blood Orange IPA

Brewing Company: Christian Moerlein Brewing
ABV: 8.5% | IBU: N/A | Untappd Rating: 3.96

FC Cincinnati brought out its first club beer last March before kicking off its inaugural season in the USL. That fared strongly on Untappd, earning a 3.67 rating from fans, but the Imperial version of the brew has fared even better. The limited winter release got high marks from fans for its drinkability thanks to the balance of citrus and hops, and continues to be a favorite judging by recent check-ins at the Moerlein tap room.
