TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 5 of the 2017 United Soccer League season:

FC Cincinnati’s Djiby Fall has received a six-game suspension and undisclosed fine. It consists of a one-game suspension and fine for the red card for serious foul play, and an additional five-game suspension and fine for major game misconduct during last week’s match against Louisville City FC. Fall’s suspension runs through June 3, pending any schedule changes.

[UPDATE] – The USL has provided further clarification to its disciplinary report for Week 5. Djiby Fall’s five-game suspension and undisclosed fine for Major Game Misconduct is for biting an opponent during the match on April 22, 2017.

Elsewhere, Ottawa Fury FC’s Andrae Campbell, who was sent off during the team’s home opener against Toronto FC II, has been issued a three-game suspension for his violent conduct against TFC II’s Mitchell Taintor. Campbell’s suspension runs through May 13, pending any schedule changes.

Phoenix Rising FC’s Kody Wakasa, sent off this past Sunday for denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity against the Swope Park Rangers, will serve a one-game suspension on May 6 against Reno 1868 FC. Tulsa Roughnecks FC’s Jorge Corrales, who received a caution for a second-half challenge on Saturday against Rio Grande Valley FC, was deemed to have committed a sendoff-worthy offense by the Independent Disciplinary Panel following the match. Corrales is suspended for the club’s May 5 match against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.

Two players already served their one-game suspensions in Week 5. FC Cincinnati’s Kadeem Dacres (sent off during last Wednesday’s game against the Tampa Bay Rowdies) served his suspension on Saturday against Louisville. Orlando City B’s Moussa Sane, who received a caution for a first-half challenge on April 18 against the Harrisburg City Islanders, was deemed to have committed a sendoff-worthy offense by the Independent Disciplinary Panel. Sane served his one-game suspension on Sunday against Bethlehem Steel FC.

One player is one caution away from an accumulation suspension as the Portland Timbers 2’s Rennico Clarke has been booked four times this season. A fifth caution would result in a one-game suspension.
