Orlando wraps up its three-game road trip against Steel FC

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Bethlehem Steel FC plays host to an Orlando City B side that will complete a three-game road trip through the northeast on Sunday, with both teams looking to get back on a winning track after their last outings. Kickoff at Goodman Stadium is set for 4 p.m. ET.

Bethlehem Steel FC news and notes

  • Bethlehem fell 3-2 to the Harrisburg City Islanders in their last outing, as a two-goal comeback was denied by Harrisburg’s 90th-minute winner.

  • Santi Moar and Chris Nanco both scored their first professional goals in the contest, with Nanco notching the equalizer moments after coming on as a second-half substitute.

  • Steel FC defender Mark McKenzie was named in the U.S. U18 National Team squad for the 2017 Slovakia Cup, with the side set to kick off on April 24 against Hungary. Belarus and host Slovakia are also in the U.S. group.

  • Bethlehem is tied for sixth in the league in passing accuracy at 77.8 percent, and is averaging 378 completed passes per game so far this season.

  • Orlando earned a late point on Tuesday night in a 1-1 draw against the Harrisburg City Islanders at FNB Field as Zach Carroll scored his first goal for the club.

  • Carroll’s stoppage-time equalizer came off a free kick by Pierre Da Silva. The 2016 USL 20 Under 20 selection now leads the USL with four assists going into the weekend’s action.

  • Da Silva not only leads the USL in assists, but also sits tied for second in the league with 15 chances created in five appearances this season.

  • Orlando and Bethlehem are tied for eighth place in the USL with an 18-percent conversion rate of their shots on goal this season.
