City Islanders look to build on two-game winning streak as OCB visits

HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Harrisburg City Islanders will look to continue a two-game winning streak on Tuesday night when they host Orlando City B at FNB Field. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET.

Harrisburg City Islanders news and notes

  • Current record: 2-1-0, 6pts

  • The City Islanders won a second game in a row on Saturday night when they defeated Bethlehem Steel FC 3-2 thanks to a late winner by Cardel Benbow.

  • Harrisburg had taken a two-goal lead against its in-state rival, only for Bethlehem to level things in the second half before Benbow’s 89th-minute goal proved decisive.

  • Aaron Wheeler and Paul Wilson notched their first goals of the season against Steel FC, while Pedro Ribeiro had an assist in his return to the City Islanders lineup.

  • Ribeiro will go up against some familiar faces on Tuesday night after having spent the past two seasons in MLS with Orlando City SC before joining Harrisburg this season.

  • Current record: 1-3-1, 4pts

  • Orlando saw its two-game undefeated streak come to an end on Friday night when it fell 3-1 to the New York Red Bulls II in the opening contest of a three-game road trip.

  • Albert Dikwa scored for OCB to level the score midway through the first half at MSU Soccer Park, his second goal in as many games for the side.

  • Pierre Da Silva recorded the assist on Dikwa’s goal. The 2016 USL 20 Under 20 selection is now tied for the USL lead with three assists this season.

  • 2016 USL All-League selection Zach Carroll leads OCB with 18 clearances this season after starting in each of the past four games for the side.
