Kickers, Fury FC look to bounce back from narrow defeats

RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond Kickers and Ottawa Fury FC will both look to bounce back from narrow defeats in their last outings when they square off at City Stadium on Saturday evening. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. ET.

  • The Kickers fell 1-0 against Louisville City FC last Saturday evening in front of 7,603 fans at City Stadium for its second consecutive one-goal defeat.

  • Former Richmond player George Davis IV scored the winning goal for Louisville, his second against the Kickers after having scored in the playoff clash between the club’s last season.

  • Richmond includes a trio of former Fury FC players in its squad, with Canadian international midfielder Maxim Tissot, goalkeeper Marcel DeBellis and forward Oliver Minatel all having played in Ottawa.
