BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Bethlehem Steel FC will look to rebound from defeat in its opening game of the season when it hosts an FC Cincinnati side that accomplished just that last Saturday in its last outing. Kickoff at Goodman Stadium is set for 4 p.m. ET.

  • Bethlehem Steel FC fell 3-2 to the Rochester Rhinos last Saturday at Goodman Stadium in its opening game of the 2017 season.

  • Steel FC fell behind 2-0 to the Rhinos, but a pair of penalty kicks by Charlie Davies and Cory Burke leveled the score before Jochen Graf grabbed a late winner for the visitors.

  • The contest saw the professional debut in goal of 16-year-old Philadelphia Union Academy goalkeeper Tomas Romero, who is also a member of the El Salvador U17 National Team.

  • Steel FC will be without midfielder Yosef Samuel, who was called into training camp with the U.S. U20 National Team in London this week.

  • Cincinnati rebounded from defeat in its opening game of the season with a 1-0 win against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds at Highmark Stadium last Saturday.

  • Djiby Fall scored the only goal of the game in the second half. The offseason addition has notched FCC’s only two goals of the season so far.

  • Andrew Wiedeman has recorded the assist on both of Fall’s goals, putting him tied alongside four other players for second in the league.
