Switchbacks' Kacher edges out Louisville City's Lancaster

After the Pittsburgh Riverhounds’ Corey Hertzog took top honors a week ago, the Fans' Choice Goal of the Week title is back with another five goals that lit up Week 2 of the 2017 USL regular season.

Louisville City FC got us underway in midweek action, with Cameron Lancaster’s precise long-range finish against Orlando City B for the clubs first goal of the season starting a trend for Week 2’s action.

In Seattle, the first goal of the season by 2016 USL Assists Champion Villyan Bijev for the Portland Timbers 2 was a dart to the right corner while Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC’s Masta Kacher also fired out a beautiful finish against OKC Energy FC on Saturday evening.

The Tampa Bay Rowdies scored one of the best team goals of the weekend, culminating in Leo Fernandes’ dummy on Michael Nanchoff’s pass that froze Toronto’s defense and set up Georgi Hristov’s second goal of the season.

Finally, Saint Louis FC’s Christian Volesky got his defender in a spin with a clever first touch that set up his first goal for his new club, and the opener in a five-goal thriller at Toyota Stadium – Saint Louis.

Five goals, one winner. Let us know who you think scored the best goal from the second week of the 2017 USL regular season.

Voting will continue through 9 a.m. ET on Thursday, April 6.
