FCC Adds Friendly Against Cincinnati Dutch Lions

CINCINNATI, OH --- FC Cincinnati reserves will play a friendly against the Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC (CDLFC), July 16, at the Northern Kentucky University Soccer Stadium with the start time scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Prior to the July 16 friendly, the Cincinnati Dutch Lions will take on the Derby City Rovers at Gettler Stadium at 4:00 p.m. as a pregame event for FC Cincinnati’s match against Charleston Battery at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets for both events are currently available to CDLFC season ticket holders with individual game tickets expected to go on sale at a later date.

FCC opens the United Soccer League season tomorrow at Charleston Battery. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. and the broadcast will be aired on Star 64 (WSTR) as well as streamed on the USL YouTube channel. The Orange and Blue open at Nippert Stadium, Apr. 15, against Saint Louis FC.

The club is looking to set a new USL record for highest attended home opener. Last season, FCC drew 14,658 against Charlotte Independence in their home opener. The USL mark is held by Sacramento Republic FC, who opened in front of 20,231 in 2014 against the Harrisburg City Islanders.
