IRVINE, Calif. – Orange County SC announced on Wednesday the club had signed forward Markhus “Duke” Lacroix for the upcoming 2017 USL season. The signing is pending league and federation approval.

The pacey forward joins from Indy Eleven, where he made 34 appearances over the past two seasons, and earned Goal of the Season honors in 2016 for his goal against new USL club the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Lacroix recorded four goals and three assists in his two seasons with the Eleven.

Prior to turning professional, Lacroix had featured in the Premier Development League for the Ocean City Nor’easters, for whom he made 20 appearances over two seasons and recorded three goals and four assists as the side claimed back-to-back Mid Atlantic Division titles in 2012 and 2013, and the Eastern Conference Championship in 2013.
