Portland Timbers 2 midfielder Andre Lewis will join Bethlehem Steel FC forward Cory Burke and Tampa Bay Rowdies defender Damion Lowe in Jamaica’s squad to face Honduras on Thursday night at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston as the Reggae Boyz complete a two-game series in the United States.

Lewis was called into the squad to replace Omar Holness of Real Salt Lake after last Friday night’s game against the United States. Lewis made 24 appearances for T2 last season, recording one goal and one assist as the side came up just short of a place in the 2016 USL Cup Playoffs. He had previously played in the USL for Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2, where he recorded three goals and two assists in 14 appearances in 2015. His call-up is the second of his career to the full national team, and first since 2012.

Burke and Lowe both started in Jamaica’s 1-0 defeat to the United States last Friday night in Chatanooga, Tenn., and remain in the squad alongside former Charleston Battery loanee Romario Williams (Atlanta United FC) and a number of other players with USL experience. Goalkeeper Ryan Thompson, defenders Oniel Fisher and Sergio Campbell, midfielder Michael Binns will also suit up for the Reggae Boyz as they prepare for this summer’s 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
