Construction for Orlando City B’s 2017 venue continues in full swing, and this week includes the installation of the grass pitch.

The three-day installation process began Tuesday as nearly 2.2 acres of grass are being relocated from Quality Turf Farms in Avon Park, Fla. Seven truckloads of grass are being moved through this process.

OCB played its 2016 debut USL season at the Titan Soccer Complex in Melbourne and the squad is headed to downtown Orlando for the 2017 campaign.

Orlando City B will share the new venue with the Major League Soccer side Orlando City SC and the National Women’s Soccer League’s Orlando City Pride.
