Orlando City B announced Tuesday that it will host its 2017 USL home matches at Orlando City SC’s new downtown stadium. OCB will share the venue with the MLS side and the NWSL’s Orlando Pride.

OCB played its 2016 USL home matches at Eastern Florida State College’s Titan Soccer Complex in Melbourne.

“I’d like to thank Eastern Florida State College for their warm hospitality and outstanding supporters,” OCB Head Coach Anthony Pulis said. “We are all extremely excited to play in Orlando in such a beautiful stadium next season.”

USL play returns to the heart of Orlando, where Orlando City SC won the 2011 and 2013 USL Cup Final and finished the 2014 USL regular season atop the league before transitioning to MLS.

OCB qualified for the 2016 USL Cup Playoffs during its expansion season, earning a 2-0 victory against Bethlehem Steel FC on the final day of the regular season to clinch a berth.

OCB will play in the club’s new 25,500-seat, privately financed stadium, located on Church Street and in the heart of downtown Orlando. The venue will have a natural grass pitch and a canopied roof to keep noise in and weather out.
