TUKWILA, Wash. – Seattle Sounders FC 2 hosts the Portland Timbers 2 at Starfire Stadium on Monday in a crucial contest for both Cascasdia clubs as they look to keep their slim playoff hopes alive in the USL Western Conference. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT.

Seattle Sounders FC 2 news and notes

  • Current record: 7-11-6, 27pts
  • Seattle fell for a second consecutive game in its last outing as San Antonio FC took a 1-0 victory last Saturday night at Toyota Field.
  • The defeat dropped Seattle to 13th place in the Western Conference, four points behind San Antonio at the start of Saturday’s action.
  • Seattle has been held scoreless in back-to-back games after a six-game undefeated streak pulled the side back into playoff position.
