HARRISON, N.J. – The New York Red Bulls play host to FC Cincinnati on Sunday evening at Red Bull Arena in a meeting between two of the top three teams in the USL Eastern Conference, as the Red Bulls II look to take another step toward the USL regular season championship. Kickoff is set for 5:40 p.m. ET.

New York Red Bulls II news and notes

  • Current record: 16-3-5, 53pts
  • New York moved six points clear at the top of the Eastern Conference with a 1-0 victory against Toronto FC II on Wednesday evening.
  • Junior Flemmings scored the only goal of the game for his seventh tally of the season. He sits second on the team, trailing only Brandon Allen.
  • The Red Bulls II are on a four-game winning streak, having taken back-to-back 1-0 victories after notching five goals in each of their previous two outings.
  • New York’s game is part of a doubleheader at Red Bulls Arena, with the Red Bulls’ MLS squad hosting the New England Revolution at 2:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.

FC Cincinnati news and notes

  • Cincinnati was held to a 1-1 draw by the Rochester Rhinos on Wednesday night in front of 14,157 fans at Nippert Stadium.
  • Austin Berry scored his third goal of the season to open the scoring, but Steevan Dos Santos equalized for the Rhinos to leave the teams all square.
