FENTON, Mo. – Saint Louis FC has announced the addition of 25-year-old midfielder Jason Plumhoff on loan from Jacksonville Armada FC.

Plumhoff's move to STLFC will be a return to the USL for the midfielder, who made 22 appearances for Harrisburg City Islanders, scoring a club-best 10 goals during the 2015 season.

Plumhoff began the 2016 season with FC Edmonton, where he made six appearances, including three starts, and scored one goal during the club's spring season. On July 6th, Plumhoff was traded from Edmonton to Jacksonville, where he has made five appearances, including three starts.

"Jason is a player that we obviously know from his time in the USL with Harrisburg, but also a player that we've been able to track and monitor during the 2016 season,” said STLFC General Manager Jeremy Alumbaugh. “We're excited to add him to the team as he brings a hunger for goals and a willingness to stretch a defense that will help us as we continue to push forward."

Plumhoff will be available on Saturday night as Saint Louis FC hosts San Antonio FC in a key Western Conference game as both teams battle to reach the 2016 USL Playoffs.

"I'm just looking forward to playing in front of these great fans and I hope everyone comes out and supports us on our playoff push,” said Plumhoff. “It starts tomorrow against San Antonio."
