Energy FC looks to continue undefeated run as it visits Saint Louis

FENTON, Mo. – OKC Energy FC will try to continue its seven-game undefeated streak on Saturday night when it visits a Saint Louis FC side that is coming off a big home win of its own last Saturday night at World Wide Technology Soccer Park. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT.

Saint Louis FC news and notes

  • Current record: 7-8-5, 26pts
  • Saint Louis moved back into the playoff positions last Saturday as it took a 2-1 victory against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.
  • Irvin Herrera’s 10th goal of the season and a tally from James Musa gave STLFC victory, as the side snapped a four-game winless streak.
  • Musa now has three goals and three assists this season, and on Tuesday was named to the USL Team of the Week.
  • Saint Louis’ next three games are at home, as it hosts the Swope Park Rangers on Wednesday night before a visit from Sacramento.

OKC Energy FC news and notes

  • Current record: 8-2-7, 31 points
  • Energy FC moved into fourth place in the Western Conference standings with a 3-0 win against Tulsa Roughnecks FC last Saturday in the Black Gold Derby.
  • Michael Thomas scored his third goal of the season just before halftime to give OKC the lead, and the side pulled away in the second half.
  • Energy FC co-leading scorer Coy Craft – on loan from the club’s MLS partner FC Dallas – was in action on Wednesday night in the Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game.
  • Craft was also announced as being ranked No. 11 in the USL 20 Under 20 series on Thursday.
