SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sacramento Republic FC announced on Thursday it had acquired defender Jeremy Hall on loan from the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Hall will be available for selection when Republic FC faces Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 this Sunday afternoon at Thunderbird Stadium.

“We are pleased to welcome Jeremy to the club. It is obvious that we needed strength in the back after losing Emrah to injury and Jeremy is someone that provides that for us,” said Republic FC Head Coach and Technical Director Paul Buckle. “He is someone that is very experienced and that we hope will hit the ground running. He will need some time to acclimate to us, but a player with his experience should fit in well and begin contributing quickly.”

Hall played seven seasons in MLS with the New York Red Bulls, Portland Timbers, FC Dallas, Toronto FC and New England Revolution. He made 127 appearances in his seven seasons including 108 starts. Hall scored two goals and recorded six assists in 9,782 career MLS minutes.

Hall has also made three appearances with the Puerto Rica Men’s National Team. Most recently he started and played a full 90 minutes against the United States Men’s National Team on May 22, 2016.
