CHICAGO – A trio of USL players have been named in the U.S. U19 Men’s National Team squad that will compete in the 33rd International U-20 Men’s COTIF Tournament in Spain. Orlando City B’s Pierre Da Silva, Bethlehem Steel FC’s Auston Trusty and the LA Galaxy II’s Hugo Arellano were named in Coach Brad Friedel’s squad that will open the tournament in Valencia on July 26 against Venezuela.

Da Silva has been a key player for OCB this season, recording two goals and a team-high four assists in his 14 appearances for the side. Da Silva has been named to the USL Team of the Week twice this season, while helping Orlando remain in contention for a playoff berth in the club’s inaugural season in the USL.

Trusty has performed well for the Steel this season, making 12 appearances for the side as it sits in the Eastern Conference playoff positions ahead of Thursday night’s contest with the Harrisburg City Islanders.

Arellano has made a pair of appearances for the Galaxy II this season, including his first start this past Saturday in the side’s 4-1 victory against the Portland Timbers 2. The captain of the U.S. U17 National Team at last year’s FIFA U17 World Cup, Arellano signed professionally with Los Dos on Monday, becoming the latest member of the Galaxy Academy to turn professional with the club.

The U.S. U19s will follow the game with Venezuela with contests against Mauritania on July 28, Spain on July 29 and finish group play against Bahrain on Aug. 1.
