DALLAS – The 2016 Alianza de Futbol series’ second event of the year wrapped up this past Sunday, as three players earned their ticket to the POWERADE® Sueño Alianza National Showcase in Miami this November.

Javier Peña, Brooks Ferguson and Sebastián Venegas made their way through the 647 hopefuls who convened at Trinity View Park in Dallas, at an event held in conjunction with the USL's OKC Energy FC.

Among the other teams in attendance were Liga MX clubs Chivas de Guadalajara – which will play Energy FC in an exhibition on June 28 – Monterrey, Querétaro, Santos Laguna, as were scouts from the Mexican National Team program.

Also honored at the event was goalkeeper Daniel Abarca, who claimed the Allstate Golden Gloves award at the event.

The next Alianza de Futbol event will kick off on May 28 in Houston, in partnership with Rio Grande Valley FC.
