Bethlehem Steel FC has produced a unique inside view to the club’s home opener against FC Cincinnati, as it put a microphone on goalkeeper John McCarthy to capture the sounds of the game at Goodman Stadium.

The 2014 USL Goalkeeper of the Year with the Rochester Rhinos, McCarthy signed with the Philadelphia Union ahead of last season, and has started all three games for the Steel in their inaugural season. Ahead of their next home game this Sunday against the Richmond Kickers, look in at what it takes to be a goalkeeper in the USL.
