Orange County forward helps Soca Warriors close in on final stage of World Cup qualifying

Orange County Blues FC’s Trevin Caesar scored twice to cap off an impressive performance by Trinidad & Tobago on Tuesday night as the Soca Warriors took a 6-0 win against St. Vincent & the Grenadines in 2018 CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying.

Two-time USL Most Valuable Player Kevin Molino also found the net for T&T, while Seattle Sounders FC’s Joevin Jones started a late flurry of goals.

The co-leading scorer for the Austin Aztex a season ago with eight goals, Caesar joined the Blues this offseason. On Tuesday night, he notched a pair of goals in four minutes after coming on with 20 minutes to go.

Seattle Sounders FC 2’s Myron Samuel started for SV&G, as did former S2 player Oalex Anderson, while the Charleston Battery’s Neveal Hackshaw also saw action for Trinidad & Tobago as a second-half substitute.
