COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC took the opening clash in the Rocky Mountain rivalry with Real Monarchs SLC. On Friday night, the two teams meet again at Sand Creek Stadium for a rematch of last weekend's clash at Rio Tinto Stadium.

The Switchbacks (1-2-0) will be under the lights at Sand Creek Stadium for the first time, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. MT. Tickets for the contest are available online, with all of the action set to be streamed live on YouTube.

The two teams met for the first time in USL regular-season play last Saturday evening in Sandy, Utah. Mike Seth scored the only goal for the Switchbacks, his second of the season, as Steve Trittschuh's side earned its first win in club history. The Monarchs are still looking for their first win, and will be looking for revenge after taking two points from their opening four contests.

Real Monarchs SLC joined the Switchbacks as one of the new teams to the USL in this 2015 season. The Monarchs are owned and operated by Major League Soccer’s Real Salt Lake. There has been a long-standing rivalry in Colorado with Salt Lake City teams, and this rivalry is expected to be no different.
