TAMPA, Fla. – The USL has announced the postponement of Wednesday night’s game between Orange County Blues FC and Sacramento Republic FC due to severe flooding at Anteater Stadium on Tuesday. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 22, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. PT.
Heavy rain swept through Orange County on Tuesday, leaving the field at Anteater Stadium under water. While all options to play the game at an alternate location were explored, the league and both clubs agreed to reschedule the contest when no suitable stadium could be found to accommodate the game as regularly scheduled.
