HARRISBURG, Pa. - Before the Harrisburg City Islanders have their final match up with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Saturday they will have travel to Canada to face FC Montreal this Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. ET.

Harrisburg currently trails Pittsburgh by one point and Richmond by two in the USL's Eastern Conference standings. The Islanders missed a big opportunity on Saturday night when they surrendered a late goal to Richmond in a 1-1 draw at Skyline Sports Complex, as a victory and three points would have propelled Harrisburg right into the last playoff spot.

Brett Jankouskas’s second-half goal looked like it could push the Islanders into the top six, but Davis George IV tied the game up in the second minute of stoppage time to keep the standings static entering the final week of the regular season.

Harrisburg hasn’t had much trouble with Montreal this season. They have won both games and have out scored Montreal 8-1. In their last meeting Craig Foster scored a hat trick, while Jason Plumhoff notched two goals in a 6-0 drubbing at Clipper Magazine Stadium just weeks ago. Montreal was only able to test Islanders goalkeeper Nick Noble three times all game.

FC Montreal is towards the bottom of the table and only have one win in their last five games. Alessandro Riggi is still Montreal’s leading scorer with nine goals. Montreal was able to go on a run half way through the season when it rattled off six wins in eight games, however, and is coming off a 2-0 win against the New York Red Bulls II in its last outing.

Harrisburg and Pittsburgh both have two games remaining. Pittsburgh plays league-leading Rochester on Wednesday night, which could give the Islanders another opportunity to sneak into the last spot in the playoffs, while Richmond hosts Toronto FC II on Wednesday as well.

The final game of the regular season will be the last leg of the Keystone Derby. This will be the game that could decide the USL Playoff fate of the Islanders. Kickoff is set for this Saturday, September 19 at 7 p.m. at Skyline Sports Complex.
