SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Arizona United SC closes out its 2015 season on the road in Sacramento this Saturday night. Kick off is set for 7:30 p.m. PT against Sacramento Republic FC from Bonney Field. The match can be watched live at ArizonaUnited.com.

Arizona (10-16-1, 31pts) looks to finish its season on a high note after losing 1-0 in its home finale on Wednesday night against OKC Energy FC. United can cement its spot in ninth place in the conference with a win on Saturday. With 31 points, the club currently sits one point ahead of Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 and the Austin Aztex in the standings.

United’s leading scorer, forward Long Tan, also has an opportunity to finish the season alone as the second-highest goal scorer in the Western Conference. Heading into Saturday’s match, he’s currently tied for second with Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC’s Luke Vercollone (14 goals). Tan could also finish the season as the fourth-best goal scorer in the entire league (he’s currently tied with Vercollone).

Sacramento Republic FC (13-8-5, 44pts) has already clinched a playoff spot but has yet to clinch a home playoff match or a first-round bye. A win or draw against Arizona would at least guarantee a home playoff match for the club with one final match remaining. Sacramento is currently in fourth place in the Western Conference with 44 points.

Republic FC is lead by Rodrigo Lopez, who has notched 10 goals and five assists, followed by Justin Braun, who has scored eight goals. The last time Arizona United SC and Sacramento Republic FC tangoed, Sacramento won, 2-1, in Scottsdale.
